There are sales branch offices or partners in America, Canada, India, Taiwan and Southeast Asia countries .Successfully we have owned many customers of overseas endless metal belts market. With many years efforts and innovation, Crostar has exceeded rivals in technology, quality, delivery and service. And will continue to persist the operation principles of Client-Based, Professional Skill, Outstanding Quality, Faith Management and Serves Attentively in order to service for all customers. Crostar will grasp the opportunity to rise to the challenges when facing fierce competitions and strive to become a sustainable development enterprise with international competitiveness.
Crostarbelt main features:
The metal belts are perforated precisely with specific size holes or virtually any shape. The perforated belts are welded using a high energy beam and weld finished to a smooth strong endless steel belt. Vacuum belts can be used for simple conveying, elevation changes or precision indexing.
Introduction to 1500AS Type Transmission Belt
1. Basic Overview
The 1500AS type transmission belt is a high-precision stainless steel drive component specially designed for ring spinning frames, primarily used for power transmission (e.g., driving key components such as spindles and rollers). Its core advantages lie in high-precision positioning, long service life, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance, making it widely suitable for international mainstream textile machinery brands such as ZINSER, RIETER, and MARZOLI.
2. Materials and Structure
Material Selection
Made of austenitic stainless steel strips (such as 304 or 316L stainless steel), with the following properties:
High Strength: Tensile strength ≥ 520MPa, yield strength ≥ 205MPa, capable of withstanding long-term high-frequency transmission tension.
Corrosion Resistance: Passes salt spray testing ≥ 1,000 hours without rust, adapting to the high-humidity and fiber-dusty environment of textile workshops.
Processability: Easily cold-rolled, punched, and surface-treated to meet precision manufacturing requirements.
Structural Design
Belt Body Structure: Formed by cold-rolling single or multiple layers of stainless steel strips, with a typical thickness of 0.1~2mm and width customized according to equipment specifications (e.g., 10~50mm).
Key Processes:
Flattening Treatment: Internal stress is eliminated through a multi-roll tension straightening machine to ensure the belt flatness ≤ 0.5mm/m, with transverse/longitudinal curvature ≤ 0.1mm/m.
High-Precision Punching: CNC punching machines are used to process positioning holes with a hole pitch tolerance ≤ ±0.05mm, ensuring precise meshing with pulley tooth profiles (such as synchronous pulleys or gears).
Edge Treatment: Deburred, rounded (R0.2~R0.5mm), and polished to avoid scratching components or operators while reducing fiber entanglement risks.
3. Core Performance and Advantages
Performance Indicator | Technical Parameters | Application Advantages |
Transmission Precision | Positioning error ≤ ±0.1mm, transmission ratio error < 0.5% | Ensures stable spindle speed, uniform yarn twist, and reduces breakage rates. |
Service Life | Normal working condition ≥ 8,000 hours (approximately 2~3 years), 3~5 times that of ordinary rubber belts | Reduces downtime for replacement, improves production efficiency, and lowers maintenance costs. |
Wear Resistance | Surface hardness ≥ HV200, wear amount ≤ 0.01mm/thousand hours | Adapts to high-speed transmission (linear speed up to 10~20m/s) with excellent long-term dimensional stability. |
Environmental Adaptability | Operating temperature range: -20°C~80°C, humidity ≤ 95% RH (no condensation) | No rusting or elongation in hot and humid environments, avoiding transmission failure due to temperature changes. |
Noise Level | Operating noise ≤ 65dB (ordinary rubber belts typically 70~80dB) | Improves workshop working environment and meets environmental standards. |
Performance Dimension | 1500AS Stainless Steel Transmission Belt | Ordinary Rubber Transmission Belt |
Strength | High (tensile strength 500~800MPa) | Low (10~30MPa) |
Corrosion Resistance | Excellent (resistant to moisture, dust, and chemical corrosion) | Good (prone to aging, poor oil resistance) |
Temperature Stability | Dimensionally unaffected by temperature (low thermal expansion coefficient) | Prone to thermal expansion/contraction (high-temperature elongation up to 2~5%) |
Maintenance Cost | No lubrication required, low annual maintenance cost | Regular tension checks needed, frequent replacement due to wear |
Transmission Efficiency | Up to 98% (no elastic slip) | Approximately 90% (with slipping phenomenon) |
7. Maintenance and Replacement Recommendations
Daily Maintenance
Cleaning: Use dry cloths or compressed air to remove fiber dust from the belt surface weekly to prevent accumulation causing transmission slippage.
Tension Check: Measure tension with a tension meter to ensure it meets equipment manual requirements (typically 50~100N), and adjust if the deviation exceeds ±5%.
Regular Inspections
Measure belt thickness with a caliper every six months; replace if wear exceeds 5% of the original thickness.
Inspect positioning holes for wear; replace immediately if burrs appear on hole edges or the hole diameter expands ≥ 0.2mm.
Replacement Notes
Clean pulley grooves simultaneously during replacement to avoid old belt wear debris affecting new belt life.
Ensure complete alignment between the belt and pulley during installation to avoid abnormal wear caused by misalignment.
The 1500AS type transmission belt, with its superior stainless steel properties and precision processing technology, has become a key component for efficient and stable operation of ring spinning frames. Its high precision, long service life, and low maintenance characteristics significantly enhance the automation level and economic benefits of textile production, making it particularly suitable for modern textile enterprises with high requirements for yarn quality and equipment reliability. With the textile industry's upgrade toward intelligence and greenization, the application of such high-performance metal drive components will become more widespread.
